Professional Wellness & Recovery

Trauma-informed support for high-performing professionals navigating stress, burnout, and critical events

When you carry high levels of responsibility, your nervous system often carries more than anyone sees. Chronic pressure, repeated exposure to distress, or one critical event can leave you feeling depleted, hypervigilant, emotionally shut down, or unable to fully recover once the moment has passed.

At Elevare, we offer a confidential, clinically grounded space for professionals to process what has happened, restore regulation, and reconnect with themselves beneath the demands of work. Our approach is trauma-informed, evidence-based, and designed to support long-term healing, not just short-term coping.

Services in this program:

Burnout & Stress Recovery

Personalized support to help you recover from chronic strain, restore energy and focus, and reduce the physical and emotional toll of prolonged pressure.

Critical Incident Debriefing

Structured, trauma-informed care following a high-impact event to help reduce distress, support stabilization, and promote healthier recovery.

Resilience Building & Emotional Regulation

Practical, clinically grounded support to strengthen emotional regulation, increase resilience, and help you stay effective without losing yourself in the process.

What is Professional Wellness & Recovery?

Professional Wellness & Recovery is a focused therapy program for high-achieving individuals experiencing the emotional and physiological impact of prolonged stress, burnout, workplace trauma, or critical incident exposure. This program is designed to support people who are used to functioning at a high level, even when their internal resources are running low. The goal is to help you restore emotional balance, improve nervous system regulation, and recover in a way that respects both your professional identity and your humanity.

This support may be especially helpful if you are experiencing:

  • Burnout or chronic stress
  • Compassion fatigue
  • Workplace trauma
  • Critical incident exposure
  • Emotional exhaustion or overwhelm
  • Difficulty switching off, recovering, or feeling fully present

Who it’s for

This program is designed for people in high-stress, high-responsibility roles, including:

  • Healthcare professionals, including nurses, physicians, and therapists
  • First responders, including police, paramedics, and firefighters
  • Corporate leaders, executives, and entrepreneurs
  • Educators, social workers, and caregivers

It is especially relevant for people who are accustomed to being the one others rely on, but have had little space to process what their own system has been carrying.

Our approach to trauma therapy

We use a simple, steady framework:

1) We get to know you

Your story matters. Understanding your lived experience helps us build the right plan.

2) We work toward your goals

We use EMDR (and an integrative lens when appropriate) to help you work through what happened and what it left behind.

3) We help you move forward — at a pace you can handle

We focus on safety, pacing, and capacity so the healing phase doesn’t
overwhelm your system.

Depending on the complexity of the history of trauma this can take 10-20 sessions, with more complex cases taking up to 2 years.

Why it matters

Unresolved stress, burnout, and trauma exposure do not simply disappear with time or performance. Left unaddressed, they can contribute to anxiety, depression, sleep disruption, emotional reactivity, physical symptoms, and a growing sense of disconnection from your work, your relationships, and yourself.

Early, compassionate support can make a meaningful difference. Recovery is not about becoming less capable. It is about restoring the steadiness, clarity, and internal capacity needed to live and lead well.
