Sarah Azzam

Registered Psychotherapist, RP, BAH, CYCW

As a therapist, I am committed to helping clients and couples overcome their trauma, relationship challenges, depression, anxiety and addiction. As a woman of Middle Eastern descent and a first-generation immigrant, I recognize the profound impact of cultural diversity on individual experiences, particularly in the areas of attachment, trauma, and emotional well-being.

I specialize in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based approach that helps clients process trauma, difficult emotions, and past experiences. In addition to EMDR, I integrate a range of trauma-informed and evidence-based therapies, including Ego State Therapy, Neurofeedback, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), all of which are designed to support healing and personal growth.

Whether you’re navigating trauma, relationship issues, addiction, or simply seeking greater self-awareness, my client-centered approach ensures that your unique strengths, cultural background, and experiences are honoured throughout our work together. My goal is to provide a compassionate, supportive space where you can gain insight, build resilience, and foster meaningful change.

Let’s embark on this transformative journey together, honouring your story and working towards healing, growth, and a deeper sense of well-being.
